HR Entreprenuers 3 Game Changers You Dont Know You Need - Workology

HR Entreprenuers 3 Game Changers You Dont Know You Need Are You Ready for These Business Game Changers? Im sitting here struggling to write this blog post because I feel like what I should be sharing with you is something revolutionary. And quite frankly, Im afraid youre going to be disappointed. Are You Ready for These Business Game Changers? Nevertheless, Ive worked with a ton of entrepreneurs during my 8+ years in business and there are many commonalities that correlate to both failure and success. The 3 Im giving you today Im calling game changers because so many business owners  dont do them and when I find someone who does, its almost astonishing. These game changers cut cut across industries, businesses and niches for HR entrepreneurs, job board operators, contract recruiters and human resource consultants. Ready? #1 Reject Perfectionism The sooner you realize youre not in control, the happier, more consistent and more money youll have. I promise. Perfect does not exist. You are not in control. You can have 100 RSVPs plus a waiting list for your premier event and that day, the caterer wont show up. Or the power will go out. And guess what? Youll figure it out because youre smart. And people, the good ones will be understanding and even help you. The trolls? Ignore them. Haters are gonna hate. They werent going to be good for your business anyway. But if you had not tried, if you allowed perfection paralysis to keep you from taking action, nothing would have happened and you would have missed the many opportunities and blessings available to you. #2 Reject Over-Planning Some of you are saying, Theres no such thing! Sorry. Youre wrong. Ive seen planning paralysis keep entrepreneurs stuck. They sit happily at Starbucks or their office typing out the 200 things they need to do to be successful. Then they put them in priority order. Then they assign due dates. Then they remember there are other things they need to do and so they write those down too. Then guilt sets in because all their to-dos are about business and what about family? My gosh! My family needs my time too. Then we have a to-do list for all the family needs. Hours  have been wasted, they have exchanged action for planning and accomplished nothing. #3 Accept Fear If the your business decisions never cause you fear, then youre going to fail. Why? Because being comfortable in business gets you nowhere. To stay competitive you need to be on the edge, pushing yourself to grow and differentiate. You might have a fear of failure. A fear of rejection. A fear of success. It doesnt matter what kind of fear you have. Take it in. Embrace it. Thank God for it and use it to drive you to be an overcomer. This is how the best get to the top.
